when you say they all disappear, do you mean they just aren't visible on the screen or that the moon provinces just turn blank but are still visible? Also, can it fixed by simply going back to earth and then going back to the moon again, or does that not work?
Download the source code, open it using turbowarp, then create a new sprite. This sprite is the custom mod. To edit the mod, just edit the sprite. To export / share the mod with other people, export the sprite.
GD4 is an HTML file, which means that it should be able to run on any browser. The issue is just that GD4 is extremely poorly optimized, and therefore it might not be able to run on slower computers (like a Chromebook).
I already compressed the MP3 files like a year ago but that just reduces the size of the HTML file, not how smoothly it runs.
I could probably make it run smoother by reworking the code for buttons so that button clones that aren't in use will be deleted, but that would take a considerable amount of effort which I currently don't feel like doing at the moment.

my apolocheese, GD4 is extremely poorly optimized and will probably crash and burn on anything that can't handle it (like a chromebook)

All countries occupying moon territories are kicked off the moon leaving it all unclaimed again

It is cool but the UI is oversaturated. Have you tried making the buttons similar colors?

well is it possible to condense the files any more without breaking the game? I don’t know much but I could give u an couple ideas
